BuddyPress and Multi-site: still trying to figure out how this will work. It is on it’s way
Integration with the menu system in WP – Now that directory pages are real pages you will be able to add them to the menu system. Using BP pages will help this along.
How are people using BuddyPress: Automaticc uses it as an intranet, all the information about team members. Schools use it as a student portal, also teachers use it for educational purposes. Can be used for a profile page on your blog
Way to start using BP don’t use it all at once, phase it in and roll out new features to your site.
Migration old to new: Should not have any problems !!! They took some time to make sure that does not fail. New upgrade wizard. It has been tested
Database structure is the same except for one thing and I did not get what that was. Had to do with building twitter fields or things like that.
