Spring in Marin or why I have always lived in California

Toni on Mar 22nd 2008

This morning I woke up and was unsure what day it was I don’t think I have ever had that happen, maybe “spring fever”. When I realized it was Saturday I was relieved the weekends are much to short. Should I go to yoga or should I go for a walk? The beautiful spring day beckoned me, yoga is great, my psyche needed to be outside. I grabbed my best buddie and off we went to Muir Beach. This is why I live in California, as expensive, crowded it may be nothing is better than a spring day on the beach. With my camera in hand I will share with you my walk from Muir Beach to Green Gulch Zen Center.

Thanks Toni! I’ve always wanted to go to Green Gulch and now I’ve at least had a glimpse of it. Looks like you had a beautiful walk; wish I could have shared it with you.

    Toni,
Great photos! You’ve reminded me to appreciate our surroundings every single day. We have so much to be grateful for.

Sometimes when I think no one is looking, I jump into my little green pickup, dance it around the Mt. Tam curves over Panoramic Hwy, come out of the Redwood trees, and everytime, gasp at the full length view of Stinson Beach! It is the most beautiful beach I’ve seen in the world and some days, it is all mine. It soothes my soul and frees my mind from the insisent psycho babble. Nature is the best therapy.
